I attempted to climb Capitol in September, 2008. Weather forced us off the peak. We were attempting to climb the Northwest Buttress (5.9, 8-10 pitches). After retreating from the Buttress, we made an attempt at the standard route (with the ridge variation) before my legs gave out. Here's a movie showing some of the weather we were dealing with.
