San Luis Peak

San Luis Peak was the last of the 58 Fourteeners (14,000' peaks) in Colorado that I climbed.  I climbed the mountain the weekend of September 12-13, 2009, finishing my goal to climb all the Colorado fourteeners after nine years and three months.

The climb was great.  It is one of the easiest mountains in Colorado to climb, with Class I trails all the way to the summit.  We chose to climb the West Willow Creek route instead of the standard Stewart Creek route.  Joining me in my celebratory climb were Devin Shunk, Jason Pepin, and Andy and Sarah Thien.

Jason Pepin was the trip photographer for this adventure, so all of these pics are his handiwork.  Enjoy the pictures!
